Cheri brings nearly two decades of investment leadership across venture capital, private equity, venture debt, M&A, and valuations, with a remarkable track record of helping innovative companies grow and thrive. Most recently, she led climate investments at BDC Capital, supporting the launch of a $500M Climate Tech Fund and working closely with founders building the technologies of tomorrow.
What stands out most about Cheri is her blend of strategic insight and collaborative leadership. She’s deeply committed to supporting entrepreneurs, building high-performing teams, and driving impact through thoughtful investing, values that resonate deeply with our mission at Pender Ventures.
Her work has been recognized with the 2024 CVCA Western Canada Deal of the Year Award for the sale of CoolIT Systems, a recognition of her strategic insight and ability to drive meaningful outcomes for founders and investors alike.
